R3 was launched in 2009 as a father-daughter endeavor between Glenn Hartung and Kristin Berry. It was built on their desire to combine the best of their mutual experiences in large consulting firms with their vision of a more nimble, transparent, and focused organization. From 2009 until spring of 2020, R3 operated as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). After 10 years of growth and success, Kristin Berry assumed full leadership of R3, and the firm transitioned to Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) status and is poised to grow in our areas of strength, including human capital strategy, human resources operations support, and training.
Glenn passed away in 2020 and is honored annually with an Employee Award in his name.

“R3 management was exceptional. The Government required integration of the contractor resources with the Government personnel on this highly visible, extremely important collaborative project that touched almost every key business area of the agency. R3 exceeded expectations with their cooperation and contributions. A subcontractor was secured by R3 to provide specialized technical expertise. R3 exceeded expectations in the recruitment and management of that sub.
