04/16/12 —	Scott Cameron lead a multi-firm team from the Industry Advisory Committee’s Human Capital Shared Interest Group, to address competencies needed by the federal IT manager workforce of the future. The project is sponsored by Susan Swart, the State Department’s CIO. The goal is to produce a white paper on the competencies federal IT managers will need to more effectively manage in a cloud environment by relying on a virtual federal team, managing contractors, navigating relationships with other federal agency service providers, teaming with state and local governments, and creating and leveraging trusted relationships with other cooperators with whom the agency may have no formal legal relationship.
01/09/12 —	Scott Cameron joins R3 Government Solutions as a Senior Vice President. He will be leading the Human Capital Management Practice. Scott has over twenty-five years in Federal Human Capital, organizational assessment, budget and strategic planning as well as six years in government consulting.
09/30/11 —	Kristin Berry, President of R3, presents at the Women’s Leadership Initiative at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business in Ann Arbor, MI. Ms. Berry was a guest-panelist discussing issues women entrepreneurs face in today’s business, political, and economic climate.
09/22/11 —	R3 Government Solutions receives Mentor-Protégé award. R3 has been selected as a Protégé by Thomas & Herbert Consulting to participate in a three-year Mentor Protégé Program for the Defense industry.
09/16/11 —	R3 Government Solutions is recognized for its support to award-winning initiative to transform the way the Department of Veteran’s Affairs key business functions interact to support the Department’s growing challenges.
10/13/10 —	R3 Government Solutions receives “verified” status from the Center for Veterans Enterprise, affirming its status as a service disabled veteran owned small business as reflected in vetbiz.gov.
06/02/10 —	R3 receives BAE Systems 2010 Small Business Award.

Scott J. Cameron, IPMA-CP, former deputy assistant secretary at the Department of the Interior.

In addition to leading the Human Capital practice at R3 Government Solutions, Scott J. Cameron is a principal of the Council for Excellence in Government. He is a featured columnist in HR News Magazine (www.IPMA-HR.org). Until March 2006, he was deputy assistant secretary at the Department of the Interior, with 70,000 employees in 2,400 locations across the country. He was the chief human capital officer, e-government executive, and served on the interagency Chief Acquisition Officers Council.

04/04/12 —	Scott Cameron presented at the FOSE conference in conjunction with The Center for Organizational Excellence, Inc., GS 2-6 CASCADING SUCCESS: USING AGENCY STRATEGIC PLANNING TO ENABLE INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCE (PDF). In this time of serious Agency budget constraints and significant rates of attrition among federal professionals, it is critically important that Agencies focus on aligning individual and organizational performance expectations. Leadership can provide transparency and context to connect daily activities to Agency mission accomplishment by cascading performance metrics down the organization chart across multiple levels of supervision and providing a clear and intuitive line of sight for all employees.
